This site is intended primarily for those who know little about us.
Find out who we really are, what we get up to and what we are capable of.
Based in Hadlow, near Tonbridge, Kent, we specialise in the
provision and operation of Band Lighting and Band PA systems, including off stage mixing
and signal processing.
We also provide Sound and Lighting Equipment hire for bands, discos
and open air drama productions.
As this site expands we will post more information on what equipment
is available and more details on the activities we are involved in.

Core Interest
Our main interest is the provision of Sound and Lighting hire equipment to site, and
the operation of it. This ranges from public address systems to a large Rock
Band sound system.
We provide flood lighting, disco lighting for domestic set-ups, effects lighting for
club style temporary installations, conventional band lighting and theatrical lighting.
How MSD came to be
MSD has been evolving since 1984, when all those who were involved with the
organisation were school leavers, driven by an enthusiasm for the provision of
entertainment with all manner of sound and light entertainment. Since
the humble 'Make Shift' beginnings MSD has grown and expanded out of all recognition, the
expansion being driven by a desire to take on increasingly diverse projects in a more
efficient and professional way.
Today, we have an extensive inventory of hire equipment, all set up for ease of use by
our customers who do not have time or the inclination to cable everything to everything
else! As we use the same hire equipment to provide a service, we maintain everything
to an exacting standard and expect our customers to treat equipment with the same respect
that we do.
